Holding Tight the Pieces

When Heidi Mercier’s mother was involved in a horrific traffic collision late one summer night in 2005, her life and the life of her loved ones changed forever. Through the hard work of medical professionals and the prayers of many, her mother’s journey pushed past incredible odds. Heidi’s day-by-day journal accounts retell what happened and the discovery of how she learned to care for herself during extreme family trauma. Holding Tight the Pieces: An Impactful Pilgrimage Through Medical Trauma to Hope, Peace and Comfort is a book for anyone who has faced (or is facing) a life crisis of their own, and walks you through reflections and Scripture, bringing the comfort and help you need to find peace in times of trauma.
